Your wedding day is about so much more than getting the perfect photographs. It's about the nerves before the ceremony, the first time you see each other, the laughter with your friends, your parents' reactions, the hugs, the happy tears, the dance floor and all those little moments that happen when nobody is looking.I'm Lorna, a wedding photographer based near Biggar in South Lanarkshire, and I love capturing all of it. My approach to wedding photography is relaxed, natural and personal. I'll give you direction when you need it, but I won't turn your wedding day into one long photoshoot. Instead, I'll capture the moments as they naturally happen, while making sure you have beautiful photographs of all the important people and memories. I photograph weddings throughout, Lanarkshire, Central belt, Dumfriesshire, Lothians, Ayrshire and across Scotland, as well as travelling further afield.

Every wedding is different, and that's exactly how it should be. Some couples love being in front of the camera. Others feel a little nervous about having their photograph taken. Don't worry — you don't need to know how to pose. I'll guide you through your portraits and group photographs, while spending the rest of the day capturing the genuine moments happening around you. My aim is for you to look through your photographs years from now and remember exactly how your wedding day felt.

I don't believe your wedding photographs should all look the same. Your photographs should reflect you, your relationship and your day. I'll photograph the things you might expect — but I'll also look for the little things you might not notice while you're busy enjoying yourselves.

Being based near Biggar, I'm ideally placed for weddings throughout South Lanarkshire, Glasgow, Dumfriesshire, Lothians, Central belt and the surrounding areas. I've photographed weddings in a variety of venues and locations, and I'm also very happy to travel. If you're getting married somewhere I haven't photographed before, that's no problem at all. I'll take the time to get to know your plans and make sure we're prepared for your day.

Where do you photograph weddings?

I'm based near Biggar in South Lanarkshire and photograph weddings throughout South Lanarkshire, Dumfriesshire, Glasgow, Lothians and across Scotland. I'm also available for weddings further afield.

We aren't comfortable having our photographs taken. Is that okay?

Absolutely!

Most people aren't professional models — and you don't need to be. I'll give you gentle direction when needed and capture plenty of natural moments throughout your day.

Do you photograph small weddings?

Yes. Whether you're planning a small, intimate wedding or a larger celebration, I'd love to hear about it.

How far do you travel?

I regularly travel outside South Lanarkshire. Get in touch with your wedding date and location and I'll be happy to discuss it with you. (Travel mileage over 50miles is charged at 55p per mile.)

How do we book?

The best place to start is to contact me. Tell me a little about your wedding, your date and your venue, and I'll get back to you with availability and the next steps.

Do you have Insurance?

Yes, I hold public Liability and professional indemnity insurance.
