I'm a full-time Mum, photographer, and happily married to my husband Kenny. We live in a wee village of Crawfordjohn in South Lanarkshire with our four children: Jake, Jenna, Ruari, and Chloe, life can certainly be lively but we wouldn't have it any other way!
My Life and Loves
I'm a country girl through and through, having grown up on a farm and now a farmer's wife. I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by the fresh outdoors and the sounds of nature (though I do prefer it when it's not freezing!).
My Photography Journey
My love for photography started at a young age, and I remember the excitement of picking up prints to see how they turned out(no digital pictures when I was younger). While I never initially thought of it as a career, a few years ago I had a "lightbulb moment." It might sound silly, but something shifted within me, replacing a lack of confidence. So, head down, homework in hand and packed with determination, my photography story began, and I'm so proud of where I am today. I'm enjoying every minute of the opportunities that are coming my way, and I hope there will be many more.This love for capturing real moments and connecting with people is what drives my passion for telling your story through my lens.
More About Me
When I'm not behind the camera or chasing after our children:I'm not very good at sitting still (though I think I'm getting slightly better!).I absolutely love Jaffa Cakes! I love a Twining's flavoured tea (plenty to choose from in our cupboard which drives my husband mad when he has to wait on me to decide which one!!).I think Processco is ok ( i know i know, I'm in the minority!!!) But remember the good old days when Asti martini took center stage???.Simple things bring me joy – the smell of newly cut grass and hanging out the washing.Listening to music - love a bit of Skerryvore, Tidelines and to mix it up I like to throw in some country too.
